Later on in the scene we here the hoover in the police station and the door as its opened and closed. I think the reasons fore these sounds and actions it to emphasise how the Doc barges in the room without consideration or courtesy. You also here the dog cry which is to get sympathy for the dog and show Doc martins uncaring attitude. The Doctor appears to talk louder than everyone else in the clip which I think is to emphasise his characters bad attitude. In the part of the clip where Doc Martin sees the teacher the music sort of implies that there is some awkwardness and mystery between the characters as it flashes back and forth between them. All of the music as well as having a comical tone is upbeat and happy music which is the complete opposite of the way Doc Martin acts. The music does however seem to match everyone Else's personalities in the clip. In the clip you can here sea gulls but you cant see them, the most likely reason for this is to give the audience a clue as to where the scene is set.In the scene there is synchronous sounds such as the barking dog, the shop door closing and the hoovering, these are all things shown on screen as the sound is heard so this is to emphasise the thing that's happening on screen and to make everything seem real continuously throughout the clip.
There is a-synchronous sounds in the clip such as people shouting in the background and the seagulls, these things can be heard but not scene in the clip. I think that the reason for this is to continue to give the viewer a sense of reality from the scene and to give them a sense of location.
